Job location: UK (Long term more than one year), base location: Pune, India Salary: You will be paid salary in UK currency, and basic Indian salary. (depends on client's choice) You may have to come back to Pune after one year and work in ODC at Pune. Job objective: Development of new web based small and medium sized applications Responsibilities: -Development and support of new and existing web based applications typically used by the client's offices across the globe. -Manage and take ownership of day-to-day aspects of a project with particular emphasis on the IT parts of the project. -Deliver projects on time, on quality and on budget, often under tight timescales and/or budget constraints. -Produce and maintain accurate plans and provide regular updates on progress to management and stakeholders -Produce requirements, high level and detailed design documents as required -Produce code to Corporate IT development standards -Ensure that application code is properly tested -Implement new applications as required Skills/Knowledge: Technical Skills: -5 or more years of General Commercial software development -2+ years C# -2+ years ASP.Net -2+ years SQL server development and design -Microsoft CMS, Sharepoint, Biztalk, Acitve Directory, Source control skills -Strong analytic and problem solving skills -Full project lifecycle skills Soft Skills/Competencies: -Creative and solution driven.
